Blot-shaped Soutache pendantDuring this master class we will be making a two-sided soutache pendant resembling an ink blot. Soutache pieces of jewelry have become very popular recently. That is not surprising at all, because you can create amazing and beautiful, simple and sophisticated pieces of jewelry with just combination of ribbons of different colors. Working with soutache ribbons you must be very careful and meticulous, as these materials require many additional things: except for the soutache ribbons and seed beads you will also need back lining, glue, special cloth for the backside of your piece and so on. This pendant is made without the backside; that makes it simple to weave but at the same time it looks interesting and glamorous. We will use: 1. Soutache ribbons of three colors: Black, maroon and white. 2. Base ring of 30 mm.3. Seed beads 10 or 11/0 size4. Thread for seed beading5. Needle for seed beading6. Scissors7.
